◌◌◌ [ℋ ❀ ℒ] “Well, yes. At least, I was the last time I checked!” Aiko cocked her head to the side, observing the other female a little more closely. At first glance she had jsut assumed it was stage make-up and a costume, but that question had her thinking.. She turned away from her experiment for the moment, and offered an uncertain smile. “..I’m guessing you’re.. not?” She tapped her chin. “Are you a robot? I mean, it’s a unique design.. I wonder if Tadashi or Hiro had something to do with this..”
░ ♥▐ — ❝Haven’t met a human before. I’ve been told you’re just myth.❞
With that, Abbey let out a light chuckle. Abbey. A human. She chuckled even more at ‘robot’. Not that it was a bad thing. Just… not exactly a thing she’d heard before. Then again, where she’s from, no one was ever questioned about what their species was. Which only made Abbey feel a bit bad about asking the other if she was human. Abbey could only hope that Aiko didn’t take it too personal.
◌◌◌ [ℋ ❀ ℒ] Aiko took the test tubes with a grateful smile, and paused at the other female’s question, turning to look at her curiously. Calculating green eyes observed her for a moment, before it clicked that she was indeed serious about her question, and a small, friendly smile graced her features once more.
”You don’t have to help, it’s fine! I’m just working on figuring out some chemical reactions for my dissertation, so I have to run a few experiments!”
”I’m Aiko, by the way - who are you?”
░ ♥▐ — Oh thank the ghouls above, that worried her for a moment. However, whatever it was she was talk- ing about, well it didn’t exactly click with Abbey, so she only nodded, pretending she just knew exactly what the other was talking about, which is totally fine. She didn’t have to do any science, that's pretty much all that mattered.
❝Name is Abbey Bominable. Nice to be meeting you. You are human, yes?❞
You know? the wind might whisper about people coming, but it doesn’t tell names.
What’s your name? ❞
░ ♥▐ — ❝This wind might have been Shiver. He is little gassy.❞
Abbey pointed down to her little wooly mammoth, in which he had a goofy grin on his face. That strong coming out of the bottom of such a tiny animal may have been a bit of a over-exaggeration, it was still quite amusing.
“Why are you staring at him like that?” Esmeralda asked quizzically, features scrunching up lightly as she spoke. “He’s just a goat….that isn’t too strange”
░ ♥▐ — ❝Of course is not strange.❞ Abbey leveled herself up with the other after being crouched down to get a better look of the animal, crossing her arms after.
❝I am big fan of goat. Where I’m from, goat is big deal. Like toaster strudels.❞
❝ ɪѕ ɪᴛ just me, or is there a weird influx of pedestrians on the street today? Did I miss some big concert or something? ❞
She’s only saying that because she just almost ran over a really grumpy body builder her bike.
░ ♥▐ — ❝I think this Beyonce did concert here. But am not sure.❞
Pedestrians. Pedestrians were one thing that surely got underneath Abbey’s icy cold skin more than any of her other pet peeves. With one roll of her eyes and and small irritated sigh, Abbey uttered to herself.
“I love the sun! Ah’m from the South, and…oh honey, we got sun. Remember how hot it was at my wedding?” She sighed.
“New Orleans was so beautiful, though, sugar.”
░ ♥▐ — ❝Yes, I suppose. Sun not so bad.❞ Abbey let a chuckle of her own escape her lips. After all– she’s as cold as ice. So, it’s not like it’d be too hardto cool off.
❝Was very humid. But very pretty. I like the people with masks. Very, how you say, hip?❞
